The history of the firm began in 2019, when attorney Justine Basilio, following her expatriation, decided to create her own law firm specializing in the issues faced by her expatriate clientele: immigration, business law, and international taxation. Expats Law Firm was born.
With a successful first establishment in France, and then quickly in Canada, the firm developed a presence in Dubai in 2021, before opening an office in Ras Al Khaimah in 2025.
Today, thanks to its locations in France, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates, the firm ensures the legal and tax compliance of any individual and business during their expatriation, whether with their country of origin or their host country. Relying on its expertise in international business law, tax law, and banking law, the firm meets the needs of clients, foreign businesses, and individuals wishing to establish themselves in France, the UAE, or Canada.
